Dr. Tara Brown

Dr. Tara Brown’s philosophy of healthy living has been instilled since a very young age, which lead her to pursue a career in health and wellness. When a ski injury hampered her performance at 14 years of age, Dr. Brown turned to a chiropractor to help her recover. This gave her the passion and drive to become a chiropractor herself, as she wanted to provide the same quality of care to others.

Dr. Brown attended the University of Western Ontario, where she received her Honours Bachelor of Arts Specialization in Kinesiology. She then attended CMCC in Toronto, graduating with clinic honors. She has further enhanced her skills and education by attaining certification in Active Release Technique and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. She has also completed the requirements needed to be Webster certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).

Dr. Brown has also been part of multidisciplinary medical teams at various sporting events that included the Toronto Pan-Am Games, the International Children’s Games, Running Room and MEC 10k challenges, Kid’s Health Day, and the Nik Zorcic Foundation Ski Challenge. She has also been apart of a team of chiropractors affiliated with the Brampton Beast professional hockey team.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brown is an avid and competitive runner. She has trained with a team and worked with a coach for the past 6 years, and has competed in a variety of running races from the 5k to marathon distance. She is very passionate about running and holds a special interest in working with other runners, whether related to injury or to share her knowledge surrounding the sport.

Dr. Brown practices an individualized, evidenced-based and functional approach to all patients to not only fix current problems, but to prevent them from future re-injury. Patients will receive a personalized treatment plan, designed with their personal goals in mind in order to reach their optimum in health!
